This document is the first of two photocopies of a brochure reproducing E.A. Poe's 1848 autograph manuscript of "The Raven," as published by Yale University Library on Poe's 150th birthday. The original brochure is also in Mabbott's research file on "The Raven." The "R" on the photocopy refers to this manuscript's place in Mabbott's alphabetical-chronological sequence of the poem's printings (or, in this case, manuscript instantiations).
