Graphite rubbing of the front cover and spine of George Vandenhoff's A Plain System of Elocution (1845), a book which includes an unauthorized printing of Poe' "The Raven" and the first appearance of the poem in a book. The annotations to the left of the rubbing do not appear to be in T.O. or M.C Mabbott's hand.
