Louis Sigmund Friedland
Manuscript list of reviews of Poe by Louis Sigmund Friedland, professor of English and general editor of Scholars' Facsimiles and Reprints. In the February 29, 1846 issue, there is a review of The Raven and Other Poems (1845); on December 25, 1852, there is a brief notice of The Poetical Works of Edgar Allan Poe (1852); the December 6, 1862 issue features a very brief notice of Unedited Stories of Edgar Poe (in fact, Comtes Inedites d'Edgar Poe), translated from the English by William Hughes. For this last Athenaeum review, Friedland has given the wrong page: the correct page is 734.
