Manuscript scrap documenting the search for variants of "The Murders in the Rue Morgue." The initials "EDK" almost certainly refer to Eleanor D. Kewer, who completed volumes II and III of Poe's tales and sketches with Maureen Cobb Mabbott after T.O. Mabbott's death.
     The handwriting is Maureen Mabbott's.
